For an old timer like me (who like to find one shoes that works and stick with it) this is very frustrating. I have been running in the Zoom XC streaks 1 (bought probably 12 pairs and am down to my last few pairs now that they are no longer being made).
So it is time to try to Zoom XC streaks 2 (since i loved the first version) why wouldn't i love the 2's. Well first I ordered the same size - WTF
how in the H does a shoe company make a second version of a shoe so far off in size from the first??????
My streaks 2 have to be a least a 1/2 size if not a full size large, I ordered them thoough Eastbay (linked right here from letsrun.com). I missed the box on the page about sizing advice, but even if i had seen it - isn't this backwards - they are telling people to order them 1/2 size larger than your normal shoes - NO - I think you meant to say at least a 1/2 size smaller! If no a full size smaller!
and of course, they no longer make them so i can't send them back...will now look to get the Zoom XC streak 3's (i guess) of course i have no idea how those are sized - anyone have them? Do they run the same as the 1's or the 2's. Or does anyone have size info on the XC Streaks 2 (2nd version) which they do still make (in neon green)
NIke - I love your shoes, but come on - how is so difficult to make uniform sizing among your shoes - how about this - when you make a shoe and notice the sizing is off = switch the damn labels...this way a size 10 is a size 10 is a size 10.
Right now i wear a 10 in some, 10.5 in others and now 9.5 in some new ones.
