What does that even mean, he "isn't mentally ready"?Not that you might not be right. But this is reminding me of Solinsky before the Payton Jordan last year. He was kind of playing the babe in the woods routine of never having run a 10K and having no idea how he would do. But of course many of us learned after the fact that he had essentially been doing a ton of high volume 10K training in the months leading up to the race. Likewise it sounds like Rupp has been putting a lot more miles in this past offseason is ready for this distance. And, oh by the way, still retains the closing speed he developed over the past few years.
