Watch Sports Center. Listen to Mike and Mike. LOTS of players are saying he quit. Wilbon didn't print the entire tweeting league.
When your teammates and competitors are questioning your commitment and toughness, you have a problem.
No mas. LMAO.
Every white guy quits when the black man hits him hard. That's how it is. That's how it will always be.

Or he has a torn MCL you racist
ESPN is now reporting that he has a torn MCL in his knee.
I'm not a cutler lover or hater but it's hillarious how much shit this guy has gotten. Come to find out he had a serious injury.
I do not know the extent of the injury or exactly how it affected him.
We saw Brett Favre get his ankle jacked up in last year's NFC Champiobship game. He stayed in and he hobbled his way to the end and almost pulled out the victory.
Cutler may have had a piece of cartilage flapping around in his knee making it very difficult to plant is foot.
Playing with pain is one thing. Playing with something that physically limits you is another.
No one watching it on TV could tell what he felt or how it limited him.
It looked like he gave up, because he could walk.
I'll be patient and reserve judgement, though.

Go read the NFL fact and rumors site for more condemning comments.
bfd. if it hurt so much, then how was he standing on the sideline and riding the bike for most of the 2nd half and never even giving a hint of being in pain? compare him to the pitt center who got knocked out. that guy was in serious pain and then on crutches. as MJD said, he played the entire season on bad knees. brady played the playoffs with a broken foot. cutler is a jerk and it was very enjoyable watching him be a quitter yesterday.

Are you an idiot? Have you ever torn a MCL?
He should have been more positive and fired up on the sideline for his teamates but give the dude a break. I don't know if anybody can play on a torn MCL. Walking on the sideline is one thing but making cuts and planting your foot to throw on a torn MCL would be nearly impossible.
If it's true that his MCL is really torn, then he gets some slack for sure. But he's still a whiny little bitch and not a leader. Always been that way.
um, no, but i believe that you are the idiot claiming that it would be nearly impossible to play on a torn MCL. you are aware that rivers finished a game with an torn ACL, which is a much more severe injury?
there also are degrees of tears and i have a hard time believing that, someone who was riding a stationary bike and standing for big chunks of the 2nd half without a whiff of being in pain, has a severe one. by the 4th week in january, i wouldn't be surprised if most of the guys still playing have some kind of minor tears in their knees. i've had a minor meniscal tear in my knee for years and it hasn't stopped me from running.
The iconic shot from yesterday and seems to say a lot about Cutler was him sitting with a coat on and Caleb Hanie sitting next to him looking at pictures of the defense. Cutler says nothing to him, doesn't look at him, appears to not even want to help him. A leader would take the kid aside and start talking to him, helping the team out in any way possible. I have no idea if he should have been in the game or not, but once he was physically out of the game he appeared to be out of the game mentally as well.

Exactly... just like he was in Denver. Great arm, shitty attitude.

If this was such a concern to the Bears or Hanie wouldn't you think a guy who's actually paid to analyze the defense from the sidelines....most often referred to as a "coach"....might have been interested enough to give the guy a hand?
Cutler quit. Whether or not he actually has an injury does not change this. It is the NFC championship. You play as hard as you can until you cannot play at all. He flat out gave up on himself and his team, and he did it long before he came out of the game. His behavior on the sideline was atrocious. At least he helped to launch Hanie's career.

Great arm? yeah he throws to the other team better than any other quarterback i've seen play.
Probably doesn't matter here, because everyone @ letsrun is tough enough to play through an injury like this..
he is undergoing the mri today, no official word on his injury yet.

My biggest issue that, even if he was too hurt to play, he completely disengaged with his team and the game. He sat on the sidelines like he had no interest in what was happening.
Every post-injury screen shot of him that I saw was of him standing on the sideline obviously focusing on the game on the field. What game were you watching?

You mean the players who were watching from their couches at home... the players who were not tough or committed enough to be in a championship game?
Oh yeah, those losers, I'm sure they know exactly what they're talking about.
