Look at the adidas Running Academy in CT. Many good CT athletes have attended the past several years.

we are in the west at 7,000ft. the extra addative to us is that you can visit the Grand Canyon while your son is at camp.
We are very educational - we change the camp every year so we have returners that get a new camp. E.G. I just gave a clinic in Tucson and in the camp was a member that had been to our camps for 4 years and all the information in the clinic was brand new to her.
Our themes also change
First year - Day for the 800m
Second year - Changing the Angle
Third year - What are ya thinking
Fourth year - 5-7
Though we are 4 years going some of my staff and i have been together nearly 10 years as we have been doing this for other schools for some time.
Over all theme is this: we can make you a faster runner simply by making you a smarter runner - athletes will learn a lot here. I have even had collegiate runners as taken aback by the information that we give.
But you need to shop around make sure its the fit you need. Make a call to four or five camps and talk with a well informed representative. Good luck and have fun,
Bo
Team Prep USA, has been setting the standard in the high school distance world and their might be some individuals that do not understand what they do. There might also be some upset counselors that did not have the opportunity to work at the camps. As far as talent, they have a tremendous amount of footlocker finalist that come through each year and usually sale out by March. I see them at the camp. I would encourage you to reach out to Team Prep USA if you have questions, They have a very strong following and their success record speaks for itself.
hey everyone!
I'm trying to find a good cross country camp sometime in the summer that I can attend. I'm currently a sophomore but suppose to lead my team next year so I'm trying to find a good camp that will help me with my speed and help me develop into a better runner. something around Iowa preferably in either Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin. Thanks!!
Team Prep USA ruined my top runner. After he came back from that camp, he only wanted to do the things he learned there, told me I was a horrible coach, wanted to pay them thousands of dollars more for private workouts that he would do with the team, turned his back on his teammates, etc. Do not get mixed up with them, it is a nightmare. They claim to help a bunch of kids that were already good and winning before they ever went to the camp.
I'm looking at the kenya experience in Iten (www.traininkenya.com). Spoke to the guys and the coach for the camp is a former world championship gold medalist and one the guest speakers is an assistant coach to Renato Canova. Will get to meet loads of star Kenyan athletes and experience East Africa and Safari too.
Just got to persaude my parents now.
Foss running camp in new hampshire is pretty good.
It is real camp style like log cabins and endless dirt roads of hilly training along with professional runners as speakers.
I also heard alot of people like green mountain running camp over in vermont?

Either go to an altitude camp or go to a camp at a college that he's interested in.
