Are you disappointed you did not make it into a good school and suck at sports?

ITT: people getting trolled hard.
this is the dumbest thread ive ever started reading.
Me too.
In fact, I'm disappointed when students from inferior schools are awarded anything over students at top schools, as if they were even worthy of being compared to the "best of the best of the best".
For example, the 2011 Rhodes Scholars were recently announced, and it included winners from such inferior schools as City University of New York, Montana State, and University of Oklahoma. I was so livid I spilled my Macallan 25.
Next thing you know, they'll allow these plebeians into my country club, where they might even have the audacity defeating my friends and I at tennis.

Could you name a few people on the OSU team who you think might some day win a Rhodes Scholarship? I'd be awfully interested to know.
I actually am disappointed when snooty schools like Stanford perform at the national championship level - it most likely means that they let athletes in who don't deserve to be there.
In other words, the school has lost some honor to win a conference championship - seems like a low price.
God bless the Ivies and their no-sports-scholarship rules.

I was agreeing with you old chap. You and I don't care about individuals, we just care about the schools they go to. I'm sure they could have found someone at Stanford to give those Rhodes Scholarships to instead of those people from second rate schools. Don't you agree?
