Bob,
I noticed 5 things about your logs:
1) Lots of 7&7, or 5&8 mile days... very infrequently did you run more then 8 or 9 miles in any run other then a long run. I find that very interesting.
2) Almost every run was run "uptempo" (i.e. 6:00-6:30 pace).
3) You had a ton of variation in mileage. Sometimes there were 100+ mile weeks, other times 60 mile weeks. It just seems that you ran what you could run, and sometimes that was a lot, and sometimes it wasn't so much. Didn't seem to matter too much.
4) You raced a good amount, and raced well.
5) Your workouts tended not to be long, drawn out affairs. Seems like you liked to do some 200s, maybe 400s or 800s, but generally, very few workouts, actually. You didn't really do any MP workouts, which I found a bit odd. Everything seemed to be at 3k-10k pace.
What I think is interesting is that it seems like you didn't "stress" and overthink things. Your logs remind me that if you run twice a day, as often as you can for however long as you can... do some days hard... stay in touch with your speed and race, you'll probably do pretty well.
