Hey everyone.
So a couple days ago I got a pain in my knee on the inside of my left knee. I think it was either a) doing hills/going down because we did a large hill or b) a certain workout I did at the gym that day.
Anyways I took the day off after hoping it would go away, but after my run today it hurt again. It mainly hurts when I get up from sitting down, or when I am going up stairs, not really noticeable when I am running. I was diagnosed with tendinitis and told to stretch my quads a lot which makes sense because they are pretty tight.
This has happened to me once before, but I took 3 days off after that and it never came back until now.
I am told to continue to run through it, is this smart advice? Or should I take time off? As much as I am concerned with racing, I don't want to mess up anything for the long term.
Considering taking glucosamine with chondriton, heard that was effective.
Thanks for the help guys, any input with be appreciated.
