I've put together a (free) lightweight iPhone app (actually a web app, but haven't tested it on android or anything yet), that lets you take splits of multiple people at the same time.
Eg. Sally, Suzie, and Sam are all running the 1500. The app lets me keep track of their splits independently, while also providing me with running lap times for each of them.
So two questions:
1) Is this something people would be interested in using at all? I see coaches and injured kids at HS meets all the time trying to keep track of 10 JV kids' splits running the 2 mile. This makes it as easy as tapping a button a few times
2) Anyone interested in trying it out and providing some feedback during a 'private beta' period? The app obviously doesn't do much, so it would only take a minute or two to check out, but I'd really like to get some well thought out feedback. There are some decisions I made, and I'm not sure they were they right ones (like, right now if it's set up to run a 1600 on a 400m track, it offers split marks in 200m intervals (half the track length), wasn't sure if it should be 100m, or if it's a 500m track, would people still want 100/200m increments, or quarter of the track, etc)
I'll figure out some way of getting this in people's hands if there's enough feedback. Thanks
