What exactly did he do to piss everyone off? I didn't make the switch to tracktalk.net but I've been hearing a lot of complaints. He seemed like a decent poster back of dyestat.

Runnerspace tried to. They made a very poor deal from what I heard.

What was poor about offering to host the forums for free on their servers? It sounded like a generous offer considering the costs associated with hosting. The guys running tracktalk obvious didn't understand that.

I'm very confused. Do you actually know what the full deal was? or are you just guessing?

It's so very cheap to register a domainname $3/yr namecheap.com and a Linux VPS server $7/mo http://bluemilecloud.com/openvz-hosting/ these days there's no need to have others involved. To set things up ask geek friends or join a geek forum and they'll tell you. Doing Linux and web stuff now is as easy and as common as changing the oil and filter on a car.
