So, anyone know where TrackTalk.net went? Didn't pay its webhosting bill or got shut down by ESPNRise???

Stay tuned. It may not be over.
...and has anyone noticed that trackshark.com goes to USATF? That site was the lifeblood of the sport. What the heck happened, is it a temporary thing.
Only kids with trust funds and retired high school coaches have the funds for a T&F website. The media clowns you see on the sidelines, on the infield, in the press box, ... at NFL, MLB, NBA, Notre Dame FB, T&F, etc. are 95% doctors, lawyers, trust fund kids, retirees, groupie, and wannabes who have made T&F into a full-time unpaid activity. I know because I am one of them. Casey owns the name and is letting the name wither away.
the guy at the top is young and foolish but the rest of them seem to have their head on straight. Joe Lanzalotto is a respected man out here on the east coast. The other moderators seem to have things together as they are all educated young guys.
These are just growing pains for the young site. It's mid july anyway. Not much to talk about other than the Bowerman 5k Fraud.
Too many people compete doing their hobbies, make an ass out of themselves, and ruin it for everyone. Have fun with it. Don't kill yourself. Balance. Balance. Balance. Take care of the kids and wife 1st. They are your 1st priority. Hobbies are supposed to be fun.
Americans don't like secrecy and ulterior agendas. Americans want total transparency.
You're right; these are growing pains. TT is a victim of it's own success and ESPN's failure (not so sure that ESPN is one bit interested in high school track and certainly is not interested in a high school track message board). These issues will be worked out and I would expect the site to continue to grow.
They should easily have enough money, I personally donated $20 not more than 2 weeks ago, which based on the SiteGround site, is good for a few months of subscription.
The admin probably just forgot to renew. Why its taking all day......is beyond me
That is not the case. They exceeded the size of the shared server. The money for the dedicated server is more than you know. $20 doesn't make a big dent in it. Nice problem to have but there is a need to deal with it just the same.
They got booted for too much traffic on an 8 buck site and need to find a nonshare site- I`m told that is about 150 a month. I believe they just got an offer to get the site back up from a private advertiser but that only gets them up and running for awhile. I`m betting it will find a home and be back up no later than Monday.
wow this thread went from 20 posts to 8...
i guess you can't say James Nehme here?
what if you refer to him by one of his multis' names?
why didn't they mention this to anyone?
maybe people would've stepped up and solved it BEFORE the site was down for days...
It's their site, they can do what they want. I know they didn't think that they would get here this soon and the site hasn't been down for days.

I believe that they got told that they exceeded their bandwidth (but weren't told about the suspension of account that followed), and as they attempted to solve the problem their web host shut them down without proper notification.
It's alright, the boards are back to normal. All is well now.
i believe they got shut down for copyright purposes. they duplicated dyestats' forum and even stole their name, "tracktalk".
its not up...?
Why doesn't someone like flotrack or runnerspace pick up dyestat? A high school message board would benefit those companies.
What happened to all the posts on this thread? I am guessing they were all made by the same person/kid (Nehme?)
Is that why so much stuff get deleted?
Hell, I am sure this post will be deleted too, and I will never know the answer to my question.
Sometimes, I feel like Richard Nixon is in charge of the moderation of LR.com. . .
