I was there a month ago...heat index was like 102...88 degrees and I want to say 80% humidity or somesuch. 14 mile run, did it on the neutral ground, and it felt brutal.
Just get out there and do it. Your body will adapt, and like others have already said, find a route with some shade and water...and try not to die.
