Who was that bald woman?
You might have a thread about Nike or Bill Bowerman, but a disparaging thread about his wife and about her death? I truly hope this site goes away and something better takes its place. I think the founders should be ashamed of what they created.

Yea there were a couple interesting sprint happenings: 1. Gabby Mayo of A&M dns'd in the 100. she's out of the hurdles and 4x1 now as well. That helps oregon a lot in the team race. 2.
Is she out of the 100HH because she is still listed. That could be huge if she is out of the hurdles.
She's out of the hurdles and off the relay.

What a dipshit. Rookie move...unless he busts a 1:43 in the final to beat the Wheat.
Rookie move? The rookie move would be running 1:46 to "save your energy" and not qualify out. Or are you saying he rooked his way into being in the fastest heat?

just a bad feed. the other events are working
CBS is in charge of the feed, not Oregon or Eugene.
Totally un-acceptable to cut away from the finish to the score board after Lisa Koll finished, we end up missing the race for 3rd place.
...Nice. Not.

Completely agree, definitely disappointed about that one. Nobody cares about times, it's all about who wins and who beats who, times are completely irrelevant, except if they're some kind of record.
Would have much rather watched everyone finishing.
Can anyone find a contact e-mail address so we can give them constructive advice on how to show a simple race?

why not eh wrote:Wheating wins the final. he is way to confident and now more rested 1:45.5 hurts 1:48.8 (for wheating) does not. andrew's being caught up in the fastest heat of qualifying sealed his fate.
I think you're forgetting that Andrews has a day off tomorrow while wheating will have to run the eqivalent of a sub 4 or better most likely.
Setting up the excuse already.....Andrews was rested while wheating was tired from doubling, blah, blah, blah.

Cos like, the 800/1500 double has been easily done by so many in the past...

Yeah, what a rookie move! Now it would have been a veteran move to be even farther out of a qualifying spot with 200 left, not kick too hard, end up running slower than 1:46.1 and save something for a final he wouldn't be in!
