Only Nigel Ficke can pull that off.

I always though wearing stuff that's tight on yer balls is bad for your testis? Reduced sperm production/quality? I know I'm not bout to suffocate the twins
i'd bet we can guess what race he is
Are you suggesting I take off the tights?
Maybe at Nike's Butte camp, but everyday?
Dean Karnsiz is badass.
Just another reason why it should be little wonder why the public sees runners as strange.
Unless you are a sprinter they look ridiculous
Eventually you will tire of hearing "chicken legs!"
Where's Mr. Obvious when you need him?
Pics?

Barechested runners in tights are emulating the pro wrestlers they're crushing on. Adorably pathetic.
sorry to bring up old post. had to comment on this dumb question…
tights are a performance garment for the legs. it does not matter if it is hot or cold out the performance gains are the same. if you are hot, take off your shirt to keep cool, but keep the tights for the performance. How is this so mind-blowing for you?
there are full body running suits that work great in the heat. they keep your skin protected from the sun and the fabric actually evaporates sweat faster than the skin - assuming you have air movement over the fabric. next time you se a runner in 90 degrees in a full lycra bodysuit have your mind blown again.
Can we get one thing straight!
Tights that have multiple seams around the crotch go under the shorts, and those that only have 1 seam can be worn without shorts.
I see so many idiots walking around track meets in underwear. Its embarrassing.
Another clue if its underwear or outerwear, is the band and stitching the same color as the fabric. If it is not, it is underwear.

Can anyone please tell me what is the deal with guys wearing running tights only(no short, shirt, singlet) on a hot day? It is just mind-boggling as I am seeing more and more of these runners now days and it looks pretty ridiculous. Compression tight makes sense in cold days, but does it even make any sense at all on hot days?
What you've never 'missed' laundry day?

compression tights are comfortable and better than shorts especially on windy days.
Now go put your IPOD back on and put your keys in your phanny pack!
Phor what reason would you phind tights phit better than the aphormentioned shorts? I pheel phairly confident not many runners will be on the phence here.

I don't wear either, but can I just suggest that if the only way you can tell the difference is by how many seams the shorts have, is it really that embarrassing? Not really.

No, for those who can't tell, I provided clues. Most people can tell.
And if you have ever seen one of these dorks, yes, it is embarrassing.

What are some other clues? I mean, both show your butt and nuts pretty brazenly, so it doesn't really matter. Why are you acting like one is modest and the other slutty?
You mean people really wear clothing when they go for runs on hot summer days? Here in my lil European town it's mandatory no clothing allowed on the clothing optional trails. So freeing though once the weather hits 60s the trails can get pretty crowded.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
