make sure you run silverlight after downloading. it will work
would appreciate the steps in how to run in it
download it
place in applications folder
????
just click on the file and it should start setting up. once all that is done, restart just your browser and it should work fine
Thanks Gosha, your instructions worked for me. Make sure you click the right track meet on the list though. I was clicking on something dated 3/6/10 and it said media unavailable, then I realized my mistake.
on cbs sports registration I can't scoll down below EMAIL PREFERENCES.
Anyone getting a still shot that says "Mountain Pacific Sports Federaton Men's Volleyball?"

If you get that, you're trying to watch a track meet from march. Make sure you look in the schedule and pick the one from today, 5/1/2010. You may need to even search for it. I just figured this out and just watched the 3000 steeple. It's working! (mac - or technically a dell mini 10v that i'm running mac osx on - with safari. no problems.)
There are multiple links to the track meet, click the one further down the list

once you've signed up and it says its playing men's volleyball, close out of that and go back to the link on the stanford site, click on that and then sign in with your new membership. stanford should come up then
THANKS! It works.

The first link is for a meet in March, page down to the meet with Today's date:
May, 1st, 2010
Yeah I updated, installed, restarted everything, tried IE and Firefox...found the correct link....status bar just creeps along but nothing ever loads...whatsoever...
Is there suppose to be any kind of sound with this because my player is working, but no sound.
It comes in and out for me. I can tell you you're not missing much. I'm glad I'm not paying money to hear that guy.
Yeah, no sound for me either. what event is going on right now? Oh, and whoever posted the code is my hero.
is there sound with coverage? i though flotrack was going to provide commentary?
Eh - I have IE, Silverlight, zipped right through the free registration but get the same thing when I click on the meet, a status bar and then: Media not available. The mysteries of computers. Guess I watch it on Flotrack tomorrow.
yeah now sound here either
the announcer was beyond useless...
the only thing i would like to hear is is the introductions...
the video is weak, fuzzy, and the announcing almost non existent, and now non existent.
and stanford expects some people to PAY for this.
Thank Flotrack for existing.
sound appears to be out!
