womens race a race again
this entire thread should be sent to universal sports, al trautwig, and rawson.
hey...another woman closing in. they were crowning Erkesso champ at 15 miles.
brojos right about the end of this race.
Cheruiyot fading behind Merga
There's a Russian woman, Pushkareva, now "in the picture"...ready to strike if Erkesso bonks.
Are you guys watching the local CBS broadcast too? Or is it on vs this year, because the CBS guys as always are godawful and they miss everything good. In previous years I've tried to watch the vs broadcast because at least they catch most of the good stuff.
The last time RC (the other one) won, they just showed Lance the whole time locally.
35k splits yet?
Merga pulling a few steps away from Cheruiyot.
Women's 2nd placer (a russian?) coming back into sight of the leader.
The cycling announcers on Universal Sports are really good though. Love for them to do this.

Rojo. It's not unusual to be running way ahead of PR pace at Heartbreak. The final miles (mostly downhill) are quad destroyers.
Merga trying to bluff
Erkesso's lead is now 35 seconds at 23 miles
I agree. Before I checked this thread, the TV announcers lead me to believe Hall and Meb had blown up
