Good. I like Allyson.
Nike Running's facebook page has an "Ask Allyson Felix Anything" thing going on today.
Does anybody know the scoop on this? I can't imagine thay Adidas just let her go. She must have still been under contract. How did Nike get her?

How does that add up at all that she just must have still been under contract? It seems she's had her years since signing with Adidas. I doubt she was signed to 10 years when she went pro.
I'm sure Nike offered her something (probably more money) that Adidas didn't. I don't really see a reason to think otherwise. We rarely hear the details on these contracts anyway.

She's so hot. Hopefully, she won't just blend in with all the other nike athletes during meets. I mean, she's way hotter than pretty much anyone out there and her stride is so beautifully graceful, that it'd be hard to mistake her, but still. Maybe they'll let her wear a kit that doesn't exactly match the other 7 on the track at the same time.
Agreed. She deserves her own custom designed uniform.
she needs to become a model.
Girl's got the goods, and is pleasing to look at.
I was actually in the so-called "mixed zone" at a meet when she finished a race. She'd won but she wasn't feeling particularly good and good barely stand up but she was managing to be charming and funny anyway. Quite a woman.

Her contract with Adidas was negotiated by her Dad before she turned 18. That contract was up for renewal last fall. There was an offer on the table from Adidas that Allyson refused to sign.
She got a better offer.
Adidas blew it.
This is old news.

Felix has been under the belief, legitimate or not, that she didn't get the best deal she could have originally because her father did her deal for her when she was a high school senior. adidas had an impossible standard to meet.
Felix officially announced it though
