Wow, you know a racist joke that's only 40 years old? You are so cool and edgy, I wish I could be more like you.

It probably has to do with their short legs and really low hanging funny looking butts. I can tell a korean from any other asian and all other people just by seeing their butt and legs from behind.
Short legs = short track
Long legs = long track
They say you shouldnt do short track if your inseam is anymore than 32".
In all seriousness, the Frisians (ethnicity/region), from the northern Dutch provinces that dominate speed skating are also the tallest race in the world. Their speed skating depth is probably cultural, but their height might hurt them on the short track.
Maybe because somebody (and I'm not saying who) retired?
Koreans are also good are regular speedskating as well. Lee Sang-hwa won gold in the 500m yesterday.
Lee Sang-hwa dolls up kind of nice.

The South Koreans didn't invent short track speed skating yet they are so dominant. Is it cultural or genetic?
I’m sorry mr ming ding xiong but your statement is simply not true. Are you teaching at a skating school? Ice skating is simply not commonly practiced in this country - I come from Canada and have lived in Korea for the past 10 yrs or so. It hardly snows in Korea maybe two or three times in the short winter season and I have no clue when you say you confirm that kids skate to school from home - either you were joking or your a complete liar.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
