I heard through the grapevine that Boo Schexnayder (head honcho and jumps instructor), Mike Corn (level 2 main man), Mike Young (sport science chair and sometime jumps or sprints instructor) and Al Schmidt (endurance chair and instructor) have all resigned there positions with the coaching education division because of politics at the top of USATF.
Boo only just got back in to Coaching education after a leave of absence but he's the grand daddy, the P.I.M.P...he taught jumps, was the HNIC and one of most respected guys out there.
Corn, love him or hate him did a great job running the level 2 schools every year.
Young might just be the smartest man on the planet and seemed to always be passionate about coaching education.
Schmidt is one of the founding fathers who wrote much of the endurance curriculum.
Boo, Young and Schmidt were among the marquee instructors for level 2 not to mention any administrative duties they had.
Any one know what this means for the future of USATF level 2?
Any one have the details of what exactly went down to make these guys leave?
