You're joking, right? It's "all intents and purposes". If you're going to use a phrase to sound intelligent, at least get it right!

Thanks for clarifying, that is what I was thinking when I read the post but don't know if I have ever seen that phrase in writing.
When I want to sound intelligent I just makeup acronyms and sprinkle them into conversation.
Second only to "irregardless" on the grind-your-teeth meter?
"whatnot"
Callipygous
wankstain
I get a lot of use out of the following words on LRC, as they are befitting for the population of dullards who frequent this web site:
commiserable, deplorable, distressing, feeble, inadequate, lamentable, paltry, piteous, pitiful, plaintive, poignant, poor, puny, rueful, useless, woeful, worthless, wretched
futile, hopeless, idle, impotent, inadequate, ineffective, inefficient, insufficient, unable, unavailing, unproductive, vain, weak
aimless, banal, devoid, fatuous, frivolous, futile, hollow, inane, ineffectual, insipid, jejune, nugatory, otiose, paltry, unintelligent, unreal, unsatisfactory, unsubstantial, vacuous, valueless, vapid, worthless[/quote]
You found it adequate to write down "inadequate" twice?
bear in mind

Obviously, he found it inadequate to write it once. So, in a word, yes.
"Correlated" when you actually mean "related." The word correlated is thrown around a lot in classroom and otherwise discussions by people trying to sound like they know what they're talking about, but correlated is a statistical term referring to the impact of two factors on each other, but usually, the word "related" will suffice when its not a shared effect.
For example, temperature and CO2 are correlated. No, they're related, but the relationship only goes one way.
Obviously, he found it inadequate to write it once. So, in a word, yes.
Ha ha ha!
Other than running stuff, this is what makes me come to this site. That was nice.

Also, referencing a "training regiment."

Supercranial passage.
critical path

gap analysis
Just throw that into any project meeting that you have and people will ooh and aah, and have no idea what you speak of.
Anyone remember when Track and Field News used to sneak "heretofore" into each issue?
YOU have no idea what you speak of.
