0/10. it doesn't work. if you want to get faster, run faster, more often...carefully.
Are you talking from experience when you say it does not work?
We have all "had" many training experiences. Can you be a little bit more specific? Until then, 0/10 for you
Yep, trained using Hadd's methods between 2003 and last year. Most of the last year training was been inconsistent due to work getting in the way, hope to get back at it this year.

I still can't figure out why people characterize Hadd training as being all slow. It's never been described that way anywhere, and I think the work I've been given has been quite demanding a lot of the time. The regular easy day running is easy, but the hard days are (IMHO) pretty hard.
Thanks Pete, appreciate an "adult" answer.
I think ignorance plays a big role in people's view of the Hadd program. Whomever thought training slower, some may say smarter could actually work?
Gotta go kill myself on a 6mile recovery run. Cya.
I followed Hadd for about 6 months and dropped my half marathon 7 minutes. I really recommend you go back to the old, big thread from a few years back if you're interested.
Yea I've waided through the thread, but seen nothing on the board as of late pertaining to guys updating their progress using his training approach. THX.
