I think, as her opponents said, that just looking at her muscles and body shape, that she clearly is not a woman in terms of typical physical proportions.
My main question is that will Caster still be allowed to compete (regardless of what gender she actually is)?
The thing no one is talking about is what about 2nd, 3rd and 4th places?? These women are also being punished here. Apart from the loss of prize money (my personal opinion is that they should be compensated with the additional prize money accordingly by the IAAF) there is also the huge financial loss that these athletes would almost certainly have gained from their proffesional contracts???? I would imagine those bonus's also would be large enough to warrant severe financial loss. Now the question is, if ASA had conducted tests, and knew the results, they are at fault for CHEATING. Semenya may or may not have known the results, who knows.....but i find it hard to believe she had no idea...if you are having those tests done on you, you know something is up and the only explanation would be that asa lied to her on the results. Regardless asa is guilty of cheating. I would say grounds for a combined lawsuit on the part of the competitors who were displaced and lost large amounts of money as a result!
why are they announcing that she will keep it when they dont even have the results of the test until tomorrow? this is outrageous.
She should keep the medal. It's her team who entered her that should be punished. But I don't think she should be able to compete again. It's tragic but her genetic disposition clearly put her at an unfair advantage.
I'd feel more sorry for her if she/he hadn't celebrated across the line. She doesn't deserve a medal for acting cocky about it when she clearly knows she has an unfair advantage

No....the only horse-shit view is the one that keeps trying to declare this person a woman.
Just looking at her standing still is one thing. Watching her move about and run is very clear. There are other women who appear a bit masculine that do not have the same body movements as Semenya which are the movements of a late teenage boy.

The guy did not "win" the race, because he is not a woman.
He was not in the race, and could not be in the race.
Because he is not a WOMAN.
The guy does not deserve a medal for being in a race that he could not ever be on. Yeah like he didn't know he was not a woman? He has known this all his life, so has all of his family, his coach, and the people at the school.
Only WOMEN could be in the race.
The 1st three WOMEN got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The 1st three WOMEN deserve the medals, recognition, and all other benefits for WINNING and getting 2nd and 3rd in the RACE. Not some idiot guy who hopped in there and is still trying to get away with it.
I'm not that keen to retroactively punish Semenya. But I would like to see the IAAF decertify Athletics South Africa, and specifically to see that Leonard Chuene never works in this "town" again.

Depending on the test results, she could be suspended, told to have surgery or cleared to run as a woman.
