Good post. I agree completely. McNeill is a lock to finish top 3 in my predictions. I personally don't think Fernandez will be too far back either. I've been blown away by his ability to recover from injury, get back to shape quickly and win so many times, I won't doubt him now.
As far as Chelanga versus Derrick, I do still like Chelanga. It will be close, but Chelanga will come out on top I think. Yes, Derrick has improved tremendously from last year, but to think that Chelanga has been stagnant or gotten worse is foolish. 27:28 is one ridiculous time, and Sam took his time getting down to business in cross country season. He clearly wasn't 100% at pre-nats, but who is at that time of the season? It was just a bad race, won't happen again in my opinion. If Sam has gotten back to 27:28 form, then the only person who can beat him is himself.
