I'm a junior in high school running just around the 16-17 minute barrier for a 5K (in nike victories). My question is about training shoes. I have worn saucony trainers for the 3 years I have been running (my last pair was the Saucony Triumph 6) and I just would like to know are they the correct trainers for me? I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on something by not using Nike, Brooks, or other trainers. Also, I know a lot of runners who use the Saucony Progrid Ride 2. How is this shoe different from the shoes I've been running in / does anyone have a good opinion on it? Sorry for sounding like a newbie haha it's just ocd and my worries ya know
