I shoulda said "and a link to results pop up"
Cool to be able to follow on twitter feed.
Just a couple of comments:
Derrick becomes Men's favorite at NCAA
Jordan Hasay ~ shit ~ great run Freshman
11 Unterreiner, Miles FR Stanford 4:43.2 23:27.76 11 Wow for Miles!!! Big key in them beating Oregon.
Both the men and women top two teams can afford to run some reserves at Regionals now to be "fresh" for the big dance.
Pac 10 could take top 2 in both races?!
Great stuff
Quite a sprint for women's 3rd, Hasay nipped Lawrence by .05

While yes, I agree that redshirt freshman Miles had a great race, He really can't be considered a 'key' since right behind him was Brendan Gregg, another stanford runner. Remove Miles and Stanford still scores 28 points. This stat shows Stanford's depth.
Stanford with 6 men in before Oregon's 4th, really served up some 'Duck Soup' today. Coach Dunn should be congratulated for sure. He has taken an inconsistent Stanford Team, had them rise to 3rd at NCAA's last year and has now Hands Vincent Lananna a tough pill to swallow.
Interestingly also:
Marpole Byrd improves a ton from the Tegen years.
6 of Stanfords top 8 are freshmen or sophomores, with no seniors.
Oregon looses its two top guns and most of their team places lower than last year, (and with Rupp and Biwott gone, it should be easier for them to place higher).
NCAA's is going to be a battle between Oregon and Washington on the women's side. Avg diff was 5 seconds.
Alex was passed by three girls in the last 50 meters. Cowboy up girl! Damn she is stunning though, isn't she?

Rather have the results right in the thread, thanks.
Don't forget about Villanova (who thrashed Oregon at Dellinger) as well as Colorado...
Unusual to see so many girls who were very good in high school to do so well in college like this.
Derrick vs. Puskedra is a nice display on how to DEVELOP young talent.
Lananna should be taking notes. Probably too busy twittering though.

And, last year when Derrick's Stanford Coach, Jason Dunn phoned Lananna, Lananna acted like he didn't know who he was.
Think he knows who Jason Dunn is now?
This was the Pac 10's so don't get too excited. Derrick is the class of the Pac 10, with Heath right behind. We have all known this, but Puskedra is a pretty damn good runner in his own right. Look at the outstanding freshmen (men and women) who ran for Oregon today before you make your inane statements.

*watches the world revolve around you* ;) Some do, some like something more readable, to each their own.

Get a clue please. Yes Derrick is a great runner who is developing well. But Puskedra is as well. If you really think Puskedra was going all out today you should consider a few facts:
1) Derrick beat Puskedra by 13 seconds at prenats while having the advantage of chasing down Chelanga. Puskedra basically jogged it in after destroying his half of the field.
2) No way in h#%I that Bethke or Heath beat an all-out Puskedra
3) Centrowitz finished with Puskedra. Any idea why that might be??? Think about it a bit.
The reality is that both Derrick and Puskedra are superb sophomore talents and that both are developing well. Derrick had a slight advantage as a high schooler over Puskedra until he was hit by mono as a senior. Derrick has continued to have a slight advantage in college after fully recovering from mono and regaining 100% fitness.
There is no reason for a rational being to think that either one of them is being developed better than the other.
Celebrate both. Celebrate Derrick more if you like him or Stanford better or simply like the better runner (Derrick is the better runner). But drop the nonsense about Oregon not knowing how to develop runners. Puskedra will be top 5 at nats, not too far behind Derrick (as usual).
Claire Michel is her name. She is a babe.
3) Centrowitz finished with Puskedra. Any idea why that might be??? Think about it a bit.
so they could lose PAC-10's?
i will take "no team title" wrote:

ummm, they lose Pac-10's either way, so no. Would you like to take another guess?
Please tell me how James Li keeps his job at Arizona.
Did I see it wrong or did Arizona just place somewhere around 11th in the Pac 10 Championships?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
