Seriously what happened at regionals?
Kosgey straight up murdered someone. Cops everywhere!
Williams Amherst Keene don't know the rest I'm pretty sure for individuals it went kosgi (sp) then Norton that is all I was told. USM didn't race well. Jared Samuel was 6th or 7th with a time around 25:35.
kosgey my bad
ugly day for d3...a murder out east, and then the RAPE that went down at the midwest regional...
Great race from Amherst and Keene. Tufts' number 5 (Rand?) looked to be around 30th for most of the race then fell in front of me with 300m to go. He proceeded to stumble and crawl for the next 3 minutes to the finish line. Really scary to watch; he looked unconscious when he was peeled off the finish area. Tough for a freshman to "cost" Tufts a trip to nationals, though crap happens. Anybody know what happened to Welch?
It was Rand. I didn't get to the finish to see this, but coming from a fellow Mainer, I hope he is alright, and gets well soon. He is a great, young talent, and a good person as well. Best wishes to him.

what exactly do you mean by this?!?
Welch seems to have been far back from where he is capable all season. Injury troubles, perhaps? He could have strained a hip flexor while defiling the bear. Rough day for Tufts definitely, although their spectator squad was top notch as usual.

Kosgey will win but amherst will take down williams. Losing Chaffee and Cristian hurts too much.
deuces
a proud day when my name has been co-opted, and regardless a very strong showing for my amherst boys. i just wish that carlyle could have been healthy. had we won the kenyan lottery we may have been pushing williams for the win. but we'll take sego over that "douche in williams" any day.

Other than Nick's injury and Matt's unfortunate collapse, the Tufts men had a great day. Solid 4th place finish for Faller followed by good performances from Marks, Ragazzini, and Brunnquell to land them all in the top 35 - 2nd most all-region runners of any team (to Williams).
And Bowdoin....
1 6 Thompson Ogilvie 25:31.8
2 10 Colman Hatton 25:39.9
3 28 Colin Ogilvie 26:11.0
4 33 Stan Berkow 26:17.6
Tufts
1 4 Jesse Faller 25:26.8
2 23 Kyle Marks 26:06.3
3 29 Jeffrey Ragazzini 26:11.2
4 35 Christopher Brunnquell 26:20.3
It is heart wrenching to watch a young man such as Matt Rand struggle to the finish. Literally crawling on his hands and knees it was obvious he put forth every ounce of energy into finishing that race. I can only wish him a speedy recovery and great career at Tufts.
On a lighter note. Kudos to Keene State for really coming up and taking 2nd place in a race that was wide open. USM did not seem to have a banner day. Any thoughts ?
Just one persons observations.
Suny Geneseo is going to kick so much @$$. seriously, they have some hardcore badasses on that team. Yeeeah. d3 champs baybay
ready, set, who wins it next year. could be a closer shit show than it was shit year.
i mean "this" year
