When I opened this thread, I expected to see, at least within the first couple of posts, the scene from Caddy Shack in which Bill Murray is hitting the tops of the flowers off with a garden tool.

you're right I didn't last 5 seconds.
I will definitely not claim that this is the funniest scene ever, but it got by far the most laughter that I have ever heard in a theater.

I saw this in a sold-out theatre and the laughter from this scene went long into the next scene completely obscuring dialogue.
