No training of course
It is really tough for distance runners to jump at all.
Herb Elliot did 22 feet
In all honesty, MAYBE fifteen feet. Maybe.
Ovett did over 20 feet as a kid.
The great and powerful Ritz could jump 35'9" without training.
I was a distance runner, obviously without as much speed as Ritz (53-54 400m), and right after college I did a meet where I entered in the LJ and HJ. I had a few jumps over 18ft, and afterwards people told me I wasn't even using the board, and I also "hurdled" 5'6, since I have no idea how to flop. So I'd guess Ritz could maybe LJ 19-20 and also HJ about 5'6?
