I ran a faster pace in my 400 PR then in my marathon PR...
Each country is allowed to send one male and one female to the World and Olympics. They do not have to meet the A or B standards.

And it makes sense to send them in the 100m because they'll lose by the least. It also causes way less problems for the other competitors if these athletes are entered in a laned event so we don't have to deal with someone getting lapped in the steeple.
