while setting my PR's, week's training would look like this:
M - 10 miles easy
T - 10 miles easy + strides
W - 10 to 11 miles w/ tempo/threshold pace workout
T - 10 miles easy
F - 8 to 10 miles easy + strides
S - 10 miles w/ light tempo pace workout + strides
S - 15 miles
when doing intervals, week look like this:
M - 12 miles easy
T - 7 to 8 miles easy + strides
W - intervals, ie. 6 x 1000m w/ 2min rest at slighty faster than 5k pace
T - 8 miles easy
F - rest
S - tempo/threshold pace workout or 1500m pace workout
S - 8 miles easy
