Who breaks 14 by the time outdoor is over.

Is Maheso a true frosh or a redshirt?

I know. It's the 15:09 at VCP. I think there's something there. I could be wrong.
You mean class of 2013

and all those guys graduated in last year. They are the class of 2008. We have no idea what year they'll graduate from college.

I need to see him race once and I'll be down with that.
Add Diego Estrada NAU to that list.
They're no longer high schoolers. When you enter college you are the class of (5 years later), regardless of when you actually do walk. It's the common nomenclature.

That is so not true. Not one Ivy league school thinks last year's high school graduates are class of 2013. Once you graduate from high school, you are always a member of the class you graduated with. You have nothing to contribute except something that is wrong? Must suck to be you.
I'm not the one spending my time thinking about college kids and trying to speculate about their doings. Did you never go to college yourself? It might help to explain your simultaneous naivete and voyeurism.
Look, I'll admit that the fact that I watched your mom take seven guys at once and marveled that it was physically possible (never thought about the removable glass eye)makes me both naive and voyeuristic. However, I'm pretty sure its standard for a fan of the sport to appreciate the greatest Freshman class in NCAA history. If you don't, exactly what do you do on letsrun, besides inaccurately correct people for mistakes they didn't make.
Most of the group who also ran at NCAA XC championship have the potential:
Girma Mecheso
Diego Estrada
Colby Lowe
Ryan Hill
Vince McNally
Brian Leung
Eric Fernandez
Joe Miller
Prentice, Havel, Aprill, Fout, Cabral, Finnerty, Williams, Johnson and Darling all ran sub-9 last year, but most if not all will probably redshirt.
It is what it is. You're on here starting threads about guys, not me. I don't see that it's particularly relevant to focus on their class or whatnot. If they're in college, it's no longer relevant to focus on the year they graduated from high school. They're no longer in high school. To cite their college year, you go with the presumed year that they will graduate. Particularly if focusing the conversation on college careers. Only the uneducated would insist otherwise.
Estrada ran 13:55.
This thread is doomed to bickering about what to call the Freshmen class. Continue here -
