Congrats to him. Too bad he's not eligible for indoor NCAA's. Gtwn would have an outside shot with him and Bumby. Don't expect much from them on the DMR without him, even with Bumby. They should have a pretty strong Penn Relay DMR though, as Boylan Pett will be back for outdoor.

He may have been on their 4 X 800 team at Millrose which was very slow. He has not run individually yet. I assume he will try to run the mile at yale next week, the same meet where he ran a 3:58:4 last year.

He is a grad student at gtwn Competed for Gtwn in XC and will also do outdoor.

haha considering its just a nickname and "i" is not in bumbalough either i think a phonetically accurate spelling of a nickname is sufficient
I seriously doubt he will run faster in the miler this year compared to last. He ran many 15's last year and really did nothing special. He doesn't have the speed. He really should start focusing on the 5k where his potential lies.
Bumbalough ran the fastest split at the ncaa dmr(3:56.XX), won the big east 1500, anchored the big east 4 X 800 winner, ran the fastest indoor mile in the ncaa, made semi's(last man out i think for the oly trials 1500)---not sure what you expect from the guy.
He is supposedly injured now so he might not better his mile time for a while, but I doubt he's tapped out at that distance.
