Save in the banks. Don't buy stocks or RE. That's what we have to do to weather the mess Bush left the country in. This Bush Depression may last 4 years. Even Nike HQ in China has cut back on what Nike USA can sponsor.

NYRR will find a way to keep it going, you can count on that.

Holy crap in a bucket. Please tell me nobody is buying those.
I'd rather trust my foot to a 10 year olf pair of Reeboks than one of those Kswiss abominations.
OK heres the deal. Reebok had to make cuts. So they decided to fire the sales reps to running specialty stores. They will still make shoes available online and will still carry running product at stores like Dicks, Sports Authority, etc. The running shops werent buying RBK product anyway so it is a smart move by RBK.
Elite running falls under sports marketing. THe guys and gals who run for RBK are pretty much viewed as running bill boards. They're contracts are secured.

Correct me if I am wrong but UA helped bring the Baltimore marathon back and does a unreal job promoting that weekend of racing.

Why should they have been, given Reebok's record of completely dropping running specialty in a few years? The adidas thing my alter patterns, but it would surprise me to hear that Reebok has recommitted to running specialty, has good terms and wants to get their product in the stores again. And then it'll begin all over again.
