crunches,sit-ups, puch-ups, planks...
body squats, lunges, step ups,
I know the great one would say that concrete running up and down hills are the best strength exercises out there.
Primarily: hill running, hill reps, deep woods trail running. Secondarily: lunges, squats, calf raises, toe raises (for shins). Then for upper body/core: situps (and all abdominal variations), planks, dips, pullups, wall pushups.
dont be a pussy.
do heavy squats, cleans, deadlifts, and lunges for legs. bench press, pull ups, sit-ups, shoulder press, and plank excersises for upper body.
I do heavy squats twice a week and deadlift once a week...plus bench and other stuff....gotta focus on max reps (not power) if you go the distance.
