I've been consistently increasing my mileage since July up to 100 two weeks ago and now am experiencing soreness throughout my legs, especially in my right calf. I've had stress fractures before and that is where the pain has normally started. I'm just out of college and training for the outdoor season, I can't afford a bone scan, should I shut it down now for 6 weeks or see how I'm feeling the next couple weeks before stopping training too soon. My goal is to run low 14s for 5000 outdoors and I don't want to mess that up by pushing too much now for a couple of road races.
