This just came in off the wire. It's a pretty interesting move for the 1,500-meter runner. She had her baby boy Cruz Samuel in April. Maybe she's been putting in monster miles and is feeling like she has a strong base for a longer fall race. She is a tough customer...I always wondered how she would do if she moved up. If she's fit I'm calling 32:45 or so for her 10K debut which would put her in the top five. Tufts has a deep field this year: Libbie Hickman, Colleen De Reuck, Elva Dryer, Marla Runyan, and a number of tough foreigners too.
