So, then Brooksy will have all of the HATE & RACISM that has spewed from his venomous lips come back to bite him in his tired, old, wrinkly ass?

Just to put this out there everyone I have ever met that has been or talked to Mr. Johnson has great respect for him, not just because he is 'Brooks Johnson' but because he is truly a great man,he gave me the time of day wich was all i ould have hoped for.
Apparently, you can't read. Several posters on this thread HAVE MET BROOKS, and most certainly don't agree with this comment.
Personally, I have respect for what he's done, but that doesn't mean I have "great respect for him".
I would have, had he retired in 1998 like he should have, or if he still knew what the hell he was doing.
We have met the enemy and he is:

You can propagandize (Morgan Smith) all you want, but Brooks is the person with the responsibility--and the budget--for high performance. And as Doug Smith's statistics show, Brooks' performance in getting athletes to their highest performance for the Olympics totally sucks.
It appears we FINALLY have a leader of USATF that is actually competent (much more than just competent) and it also appears that the Brooks bullshit is about to come to an end.
Good Riddance (I hope).
Just wondering how many of you are showing up in Reno and/or Las Vegas in December for the convention and/or the high performance summit?
If Doug Logan's talking the talk AND walking the walk, sounds to me like bye-bye Brooks J and all the cronies!
Apparently you’re all cowards; as the majority of you are all members of the same board as Mr. Johnson. Not "one" of you has the decency to put their real name; instead you talk
Cowardly behind his back, talking about him as “if” he were a failure..??
But I’ll let you in on a little secret, the athletes in my eyes are what matters to Mr.Johson, as well Mr.Johson is what matters to the athletes. So in the end the athletes that have worked and talked with him will surely not be on the same page as you. Nor will they share the same ideas as to what he is and represents, that you have so boldly stated. As I can only speak on my behalf, I would just like to say that working and talking with him made all the difference. He’s there to help you achieve your potential, and to become the athlete and person ‘you’ strive to be. That to me is what makes not a good coach but a great coach. So you all can say and “do” whatever you like, oh wait, that’s write you haven’t ‘done’ anything, you’ve just hidden behind your condescending names and comments. But in the end the athletes know the truth; so nothing else matters. You can carry on with your pointless blog, As long as you know the people he has touched will be forever grateful and show him nothing but respect.
"I liked Medellin, Ari!"
"Then you're a F---ING idiot!"
I have spoken to a couple athletes that Brooks has coached and I don't think most of them respect him much at all. They don't think his methods brought out the best in their performances.
Brooks Johnson on letsrun again
I say we boycott USATF until they get rid of all the board members and not let Brooks Johnson within 15 miles of any USATF sanctioned event or office.

They were stupid or they were lying!

yeah, but, you can't teach 'stupid', which is what the involved runners are, when it comes to passing the baton.
In this case, because they listened to the coach.
In my opinion,The 400mr mess ups in the World Champs were not the Coaches' fault, but the Athletes', unlike the OLY where the Coach was at fault.
And how about the Athens 4x400 where a lesser athlete coached by Johnson ran instead of the higher ranked woman?

This is either Brooks or he is paying someone to type up some positive press about him.
It's the famous Morgan Smith.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
