Hey,
Next week I have my first XC race of the season. It is only two miles, on a pretty normal course (no hills, etc.)...
I've done NO speedwork all summer besides striders at the end of my long and easy runs.
Most of my runs are between 7:05-7:20 pace, with a long run of 10.
What should I expect in this race? I really have no clue what kind of fitness I am in.
Just for some reference, my track PRs are 54 for the 400 and 2:07 for the 800.
