I'm going to Hanover because my brother's team qualified.
Clarkson, to the best of my knowledge, has never sent an individual of team to Nationals. We finished as high as 13th in 2004, with our top finisher placing 18th overall. The women were as high as 6th that year, but they are a far cry from that now...
alex benway ftw!
Shamus had a pretty distinct limp after the race. Hopefully it was temporary.
it looked to me that schneider had a pretty distinct limp after the race...i didnt see shamus hobbling around though
Schneider is fine. He always walks all wacky looking since birth.
Fear the Oatbag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fear the Oatbag!
So what does everyone expect form the Atlantic Region teams:
Cortland: 1st possibly
NYU: a top 10 finish
Geneseo: In the top 15
SLU: In the top 20
Plattsburgh: Not Last
What about the Individuals:
Kosgei: National Champ!!!?
Guerriero: ?
Bocchino: ?
Stenuf: A strong showing to end his college days
Stewart: ?
Williams: A better showing than regionals
Bell: ?

rumor is its a minor stress fracture in his hip. supposedly he will be in fine shape by nationals time. it had just been slightly aggravated.
I'm picking Tim Chichester from Geneseo for "All American most resembling a mogwai"
i'm picking him for the "i wrecked cortland's shit at slu" award
plus everyone knows he's a cutie
Team: Cortland #1, NYU and Geneseo top ten (Geneseo will do very well if their #5 [Lee Berube?] runs where he's able to). SLU=top 20. Plattsburgh.... well, hopefully not last... but it's possible
Individual finishes: Kosgei wins. Duh. Schneider (should be up there too, top 5 or so), Guerriero (Regionals race was a fluke, he's much faster than that), Chichester (has been consistently improving, hasn't gotten enough respect on here), and the Cortland team (top guys should be up by Schneider) will be All-American. Quite a few more as well. Brett Dolan to win the first 800 meters again?
Cheer squad: Geneseo will dominate the field with their team spirit, just as they did at Regionals. It's amazing how many people they get to come and support their team. I've heard they do that for Nationals too. That's gotta be fun for the Geneseo runners knowing you have that kind of support. Does SLU have a lot of supporters at Nats?

It's amazing how they wear kilts and yet their school has no scottish ties....
They had a bagpipe player at SUNYACs, maybe the kilts have something to do with that? Inside joke on the team, or maybe they just like bagpipes and kilts.
Geneseo's "transition team" will be at Hanover in full force (25+ guys). thanks for the love. The kilts were will haskell's idea and in my opinion, they were redonc. Nice work Haskell.

Well if he's running through a minor stress fracture, the running part aint gonna make it "better". Stress fractures heal by not running.
Chichester ran great at Regionals, but his best two races of the year were at SLU... would make me nervous.

You are correct that a stress fracture (especially in the hip) needs rest to heal.
In addition, if he does have a stress fracture it would be very unethical of his coach and athletic trainers to let him continue to run. If that hairline fracture pops during the race, they will be setting him up for a lifetime of hip related problems.
However, after reading the Atlantic Region thread, I would also question the validity of information.

don't question the kilts
does anyone have recommendations of places to stay in or around hanover?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
