Hey All,
A few years ago, after a series of injuries and personal problems, I quit running. Now, however, I am itching to get back into it. I have been training really easy (like 30 min. per day or thereabouts) recently. Back before I quit, I was in about 3:10 marathon shape (Boston Qualifying time).
My question is, if I were to begin a serious training regimen now, would I be ready by April or May of next year to be back at my former fitness level and qualify for the Boston Marathon? If not, how long should I expect to take to get back to my previous fitness level?
