So is this meet gunna be on UCI's campus again? If so are they going to make it clearer this year so the entire field doesnt go the wrong way.

Vince has got to go. I really hope the new athletic director will no longer settle for a medicore at best program when there is no reason that the school should not have much stronger track and cross country program.
The meet does suck pretty hard but its the only game in town that weekend really in Southern California so it still attracts good runners. And Vince has been there a long time so unless he retires, he is still the coach.
i met with a few coaches last year and we all decided that we would never attend the meet again. in 2006 at their true home course in HB, the lead bike went off the course in the last mile--just like what happened on their campus course last year (but there was no lead bike).
as far as so-cal xc meets this year, we are attending redlance, UCR and Vanguard.
Maybe the new athletic director (a track and field guy) will look at how medicore the program has become over the last few years and try to get new blood to get the program back to where it was when Steve Scott ran for UCI.
Remember that the only reason Steve Scott ran for UCI was that UCLA didn't want him.
