Interesting interview. What I don't understand is how a guy who just ran a 1:06+ half-marathon thinks he's ready to run 2:11. I just hope this isn't another case of a guy who could probably run 2:14, but instead darts off at 2:11 pace, hits 20, dies, and runs 2:21 and is discouraged by the distance and doesn't try it again until he's 35. It probably doesn't help training with De la Cerda and Mahon, whom seem to fall into the same "try to run 2:10 and die to 2:18" trap.
Man you guys are a bunch of haters. I hope every one makes there goaled and i hope people don't hate on me when i set my goals.

No doubt Timo, these are the same people who would bitch if these guys set 2:14 as a goal because "the Kenyans don't limit themselves".
