I am just wondering if anyone can give me advice about my problem. I am currently running cross country in my junior year of college and this whole season I have been running dramatically slower than the previous season. My legs have been feeling absolutely dead in workouts and on easy runs as well as the meets. I have been suffering from what seems to be an ongoing cold (terrible coughing, runny nose, fatigue). I have been told that I probably have Bronchitis but haven't yet ben able to go to the doctor. My question is: What can I do to restore my legs back to their freshness? I have been doing 85+ miles per week. I know that I should probably cut back for a while but for how long? Should I go back up after I start feeling better? My season ends with Nationals on November 23 with 4 other meets leading up to it (every other week). I plan on seeing a doctor and hopefully getting an antibiotic or something, but I was just wondering what advice can be given in regards to my training. My legs have never felt so dead. Thanks a lot.
