Same here. When I have a shoe with what's now considered "normal" heel height every step feels like I'm going uphill. On top of that I find that my knees and ankles ache much more than they normally do.

I know that if you're used to a relatively "flat" shoe - heel-to-toe - the PRs would be fine. A few long runs would confirm that. The Pros would definitely be a good training/racing flat, w/out a doubt; and they'd offer a bit more longevity out of the midsole, especially the forefoot. BUT, they aren't slip-lasted, so they don't quite have that slipper-like fit you get from the PR - of course, nothing much else out there does, either. (I like the new blue version of the Pro - no plastic piece on the bottom this time around...)
