Stanford has really put together some amazing fields this year. The names I'd like to point who are entered in this race are Leonel Manzano, Christian Smith, and Andrew Wheating(recent 3:58). Everyone in this section is a high caliber runner, but it will be interesting to see what Manzano can do in the 800m at this time of the year, but I'd be tickled pink if Christian Smith won it. He ran 3:46 last week, not all that fast, but he's probably looking toward the trials.
