Ok here it goes. You take a Ritz and a Webb from each year from 1998-2008 line them all up in a 5k Cross Country Race and score all 11! Which team wins! Is it Ritz FTW? Or will Webb freaking win?
Cool Beans.

I say Ritz has a perfect score of 15. EOT
98- ritz...HS
99- ritz...HS
00- ritz...HS
01- ritz...ritz was faster at NCAA
02-webb...ritz injured
03-ritz...close race
04-webb...ritz was injured
05-webb...ran solid 2 mile
06-webb..won in a 10k head to head
07-webb...had a pretty solid 07 season
08-ritz
16-17 ritz wins, would win by alot more if he wasn't injured so much.
08 is the decider, since ritzaiming at a longer distance this year and webb is obviously focusing on the mile, kinda makes it a no brainer.
I was thinking you would score it differently...not as head to head competitions through the years but as a large dual meet w/ all runners running at same time. Score all 11 runners as to not give Webb an advantage b/c he has been more healthy later in his career when he is now obviously faster than ritz was in HS.
