I am a senior collegiate on the east coast looking to get into a fast 10km. There really are not too many meets that my team goes to that have fast 10k's. This year my coach is bringing our top runners to Penn. I ran the 10km last year in the mid 34's by myself and would like to really break into the 33's. I have noticed in the past that the Penn Relays have not had too deep of a field of 10km runners. Do you think this year the field will be filled with more talent because it is an Olympic year, or will most of the top athletes still venture out to California for Stanford and Mt. Sac? If any women that can run sub 34 read this. Please do the 10k!
