I'm off to Barbados in 3 weeks time. Has anyone ever trained out there before?
Anyone got any info on the place?

hop over to st lucia man, training is better out there.
Traffic can be crazy on the south and west sides. Much less hazordous on the east coast and there are some killer hills near Bathsheba. If you can stand running laps, the Garrison is nice. It's a horse track (about .7 miles around on the paved track). This winter we ran there in the morning while they were working the horses - kind of cool.
Sidewalks are hard to come by, so you'll probably run with traffic. Traffic is the worst in the south and the west, Bridgetown being in the southwest. There are some nice paths along beaches on the east coast, but I never found them. I stuck to the coast road instead, which wasn't terrible but nerve-wracking.
If you're running on the streets, I hope you're good with directions. Barbados has virtually no street signs.
Hills in Barbados?
The east coast is quite rocky and hilly, and therefore not as popular with tourists.
