and how many ounces are each?
Neither are real running shoes. I wouldn't buy either one of them. Buy something worth while. Are you a neutral runner or do you need some stability? If you like Saucony, I would go with the Trigon 5 Ride, ProGrid Guide, Tangent's, or even Omni.
i can pretty much run in anything, i just wanted them because they were cheap. But yeah i think i am neutral, what did you mean by they arent real running shoes?
leather upper, less cushioned, won't last as long, etc.
You could probably get about 250 miles out of the two that you listed. The others (excluding the tangent), you should be able to get 500-600. Trust me, it's worth spending the extra 20-30 dollars to start with instead of buying cheap shoes every couple of weeks. Your feet will thank you and you'll be less prone to injury. Try out the trigon 5 ride's. They wear like iron and have great cushioning for a neutral foot type.
I have run in two pairs of the cohessions and they are nice! Comfortable and last pretty long! I dont know what the other guy is talking about, I probably got 500 on mine easily. They were a great shoe for the price! I have since moved on to the triumph 5, the sinister and the paramount(best shoe ever made in my opinion).
so let me get this straight... you went from a 55 POS to a 120 dollar shoe to a 165 dollar shoe. uh...ok
By "not a real running shoe" the above poster means its not in the tech running line. Its considered an athletic shoe---you can kick around in it but if you want to run,it will do the job you need. Kids and casual runners would be the main consumers although i heard that an elite runner considered that his favorite trainer so its different for everyone....like the guys who complain they dont get 500miles out of a pair of 50$ waffle xc spikes and use them for everyday trainers.
That said the cohesion is a pretty sweet shoe or ~50$ and considered best in class for that category. I dont believe it has a leather upper, instead with a good amount of open mesh, the grid technology that saucony was founded on and a strobel board that adds a thin layer of extra cushion under the footbed. For 50$ you wont find much better.

Yeah when I bought the cohession I was in college then I gradutated and got a job so I could actually afford better shoes. Anyway I never pay full price for a shoe, I will buy them when I have discount coupons or ask my friends that work at a running store to give me a discount.
i just bought them off eastbay for 39.99, i was scared for a second i had ordered basketball shoes or something.
Thanks for all your help
