Texas could win this if they want to give a run at it.
Hernandez - 1:47
Manzano - 1:49
Everett - 1:49
Miller - 2:24/4:00.50 (1:50.20 PR 3 yrs ago)
are there any distance relays where unattached teams can run? i\'m redshirting but really want to run at penn.
The post-collegiate DMR and or 4x8 was canceled about 6 years ago due to lack of participation. The last year there were only 2 teams.
The College 4x800 is always much more of a crapshoot, and much more fun to watch, because its the last of the 3 distance relays. Inevitably the big name powerhouse schools run all three . . . they're tired by the 4x800, which allows everybody into the mix. It is much more likely for an unknown to pull it off in the 4x800 than the other two (especially if your miler has to go against Manzano in the DMR, or in past years people like Nick Willis). I certainly think if UConn or Columbia comes into the race fresh then they have just a good a chance as anyone. LBP took on all takers last year in the last 100 meters and won.
Watch out for Harvard and Cheneworth! (8:04i freshman)
7:25 is not all that fast indoors...I mean U Vic, a CIS team ran 7:30 indoors! i know thats a fairly big difference.. but CIS!
If Northern Iowa enters the race, which is a possiblitily, watch out.
Tyler Moulder-#6 in d1 right now, 1:48.16
Dorian Ulrey-1:49.2 and sub 4 minute miler
Beau Dieltschneider-1:50.2
Tim Fulton - 1:51.3
Those are all open 800 times
LSU will win convincingly.

There is no way UNI would travel to Penn when the Drake Relays are the same weekend. Look for them to win at Drake, not at Penn. With that said, 3 of those 4 guys will be on their DMR which will probably fair quite well.
All of that aside, I still hate UNI.
