Was married for 4 years before getting a divorce. We absolutely needed to get divorced because she was a crazy a**hole 90% of the time and I was tired of the B.S. I didn't want to get a divorce but I felt even after counseling that she was beyond fixing. While I did feel a wave a relief once I told her it was over, part of me felt the same way that you did.
I think what it comes down to is just the amount of effort and emotional investment you've put into someone. And when they move on so quickly, it always stings because it basically tells you that you were never really that important to being with and your effort in the relationship meant nothing to them.
